Placement Students

We are opening up our applications for a Business Placement student for 2026-27, to officially commence in September 2026. Read here for more information, and be sure to hear what our previous students have said after their 12-months with us.
For the past few years, JRMA has been recruiting Placement Year Students from educational institutions such as the University of Worcester Business School. We believe work experience in a practical office can help graduates finish their studies and get a taste of real world tasks and scenarios. Hear from our previous placement students starting from our most recent student to the very first student in 2018:

"The beginning of my placement at JRMA has been far beyond my expectations. Everyone here is so welcoming! The initial training and work to do has been enriching and incredibly beneficial for developing my skills and helping me settle in. I’ve been able to dive straight into customer work, and throughout this, I’ve learnt a lot of important, regularly-used software, such as Xero, Sage and Excel."

- Owen, an Accounting & Finance 2025-26 Placement Student from the University of Worcester.

“I didn't actually know what a Management Accountant did outside of class, until I started my placement at JRMA. My experience has been wonderful, and I’ve learnt so many new things and skills, as well as how to use Xero, QuickBooks and Sage50. The team is so helpful especially when you're confused, or don’t know where to start, like I was. I recommend that all students should take up a placement for the work experience.”

– Izzy, a Business & Finance 2024-25 Placement Student from the University of Worcester.
